Hi Friends,

Wishing all a Happy New Year!

This past year I focused on using up my older Perlier body cream stash. I did well and am on track to use up the rest of these in the first few months of the year.

This new year will bring good changes, as I am retiring at the end of June after this school year. With a change in finances, using what I have has a new importance! I am excited to embark on this journey and spend more time with the people I love in the places that I love! 

I didn't use anything up this week, but did give away the following from the stash.

@kathie66  - Congratulations on your upcoming retirement in June.  I will have retired 2 years ago this February and can't believe how the time has flown.  I do not regret it one bit.  Even on days when I don't have anything to do and life may seem "boring" to some, for me, it's still better than working.  I loved the people I worked with and for the most part enjoyed my job, but I was ready to move on and it sounds like you are also.  I'm so happy for you.

This week all I did was use up some toothpaste.  Nothing exciting.  Still struggling to get back to my pre-surgery routine so not using much of anything at the moment.

Hello Everyone!

This week I used up:

-Covergirl Clean Fresh Brow, great color, micro fine point, BUT hardly much product in it. I'll continue with Benefit.

-NYX Thick It Stick It, just OK for me. Have others I reach for regularly!

-Soft Soap Milk and Honey hand soap, A staple! Replaced with same!

Good for you, @kathie66!  I never officially retired.  I took a needed break in January of 2010 and ended up never going back.  You'll probably become busier than you imagined.  The good thing is that you get to pick and choose, even if it's staying in pj's all day.

I didn't use up too much this week...

Dr. Denese Advanced Firming Pads - a staple for me. Used up a jar, opened a new one.

Can you believe bandaids? Boxes that were all the wrong sizes I needed and keep a few boxes in the kitchen cabinet, too. That was about it this week.

This week I tossed 3 tubes of mascara (different brands) that I didn't know how long they had been opened.  I found them in a handbag I hadn't carried for a while and in the makeup bag I take with me in the car and when I may want to add some basics to what I have on that day.  I don't want to risk using old mascara so out they went.
