@kathie66 - can't believe it's been a week since the last "Use Up This Week" post.  Feels like yesterday that I was saying I used up mouthwash.

Don't have anything to report this week, not even mouthwash. LOL  Something must be wrong that I haven't used anything up.  

Looking forward to reading all the posts.

I used up two items:

Philosophy - 32 oz. Cinnamon Sugared Apples shower gel; Note:  that was the best new holiday scent!

WEN - Bella Spirit Self-tanning Bronzing drops; guess I'll go back to being pasty white!  I don't see it on QVC right now, but I can get it from Chaz's website.  I love this stuff!

Ran out of  storage space on my metal racks in my basement  for food items.

  Just bought a new  rack and then found another box of canned food items from Costco  that my husband had bought  that  he forgot about.  I've never seen so many cans of  salmon, tuna,  and chicken . I asked him what was he thinking buying so much  and even cans of spam. He said well,  the supply chain  situation might get really tough   when the rail strike was on , so he bought enough for us and all our children !

Kleenex  . Not very exciting  but everyone  around has some  type virus

Hello beauties.  I used up:

Dove pomogranite and lemon verbena deodorant.  Took this from my travel bag and replaced with a new one.  

Korres foaming face cleanser .068 oz.  Sample from the 2022 beauty box.  Trying to use up different samples.  I will open a 32 oz purity.  Those last me a long time.

May I combine used up and purchased?

I replaced my Kiehl's Oil Cleanser ( a lovely lavendar fragrance before bedtime)....This replaces my use of BB Cleansing Oil that I've used for decades.

My favorite L'Oreal Voluminous mascara...purchased 6 w/ coupon fromCVS....personal and professional use. I give clients their to keep after I use it on them. I had purchased a Tarte trio onQVC awhile ago,but only use that when more dressed. The L'Oreal is more natural for every day.

Finally used the last drop of my last Dr. Denese Hydroshield serum. I'm giving this a break for now, as I experiment with new skincare, some drugstore and others to see what's most effective, affordable. While I always liked the feel of Hydroshield, I don't think it treated the skin, but was just a nice smoothing first layer before putting on moisturizer. It's been more of a habit than necessary...as I think now I might benefit more from other treatment type products, at this age. I used Hydroshield the better part of a decade or more, with other of DD's products, I'm also using down for now.

I think that's it for this week for me!

Hair stuff.

I go through a lot of shampoo, conditioner hair spray, mousse, etc. I subscribe to all the stuff from Amazon. (Even my Avon items.)

I am using up my patience with my hair! Only because I trim it myself. I sure would love to go to a professional!

The other thing I did use up was a 1/2 ounce of lavender, and do have more on hand. A drop or 2 for its calming & antibacterial properties. I do not use anything w/ lav in my skin care.

But I did find this from PubMed:
