Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

I watched the presentation of the Doll 10 TSV with Doris and host Jill Bauer and Doris said she's wearing the light shade of foundation and Jill is wearing the medium shade.

I have worn light in the older cream compact version of the Dalton foundation and the shade was ok on me. It would be nice to see the color swatches next to each other. Doris may also want to change the picture of the model for the medium shade as model Joy doesn't work for QVC anymore. Joy used to model all of the Bare Minerals makeup -- what shade of BE foundation did she wear?

Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

I just broke down and ordered the light in the TSV.  I used to wear Fairly Medium in BE foundation.  It had more neutral pink undertones than the light which was too yellow for my complexion.  The light in the Doll10 foundation looks neutral so I think it will work well for me.  The medium looks too yellow/orange for me.

I had not seen Joy for quite some time.  Sorry to hear that she has left the Q  I always enjoyed watching her.  A beautiful woman who seemed to be down to earth and modest in spite of her beauty.

So in the online video Doris said Medium has a yellow undertone. Now on TNB with Sandra Bennet she said Medium has a neutral undertone. Go figure. I tend to agree with it being more neutral but talk about confusing double talk. SMH.

Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

I can't tell my shade between fair and light. They did switch what they said the undertones are.

Even more bothersome IMO, those markers Doris is putting on her hand are dry-erase markers, not permanent markers. You can swipe them away with your fingers so the foundation didn't actually cover them. Not sure why they didn't use a black eyeliner or permanent marker unless it doesn't really cover that well? I find this deceptive and not sure the reason for it. The products look really good so why the trickery?

Hi there - like everyone else today, I need some help to figure out if I should get Light or Medium in the TSV foundation? I'm a BE Light, also Light in Mac Mineralize.

thanks so much for your help!

@Phelina I would say the light.  It's very neutral and a little warmer than the fair in BE.

Great...@WenDoll10girl, I am so glad that Phelina was able to get in touch with you. I tried to direct her to you- since you had told me this was a quality product for yourself.

I 'know' in choosing any shade of foundation is difficult, if not matching, in person.

I am intrigued with the Hydragel; nothing like this `that I have use`, yet.

ALSO, the neutral, (which I have been told that is what I should use), but -try- to find one...almost impossible!

This will save me a trip to the cosmetic counter and be a guinea specimen for a hour+, also the blush & brush I can use.

I, also purchased the LIGHT more {neutral} / pink undertones and needing no great amount of yellow.

     Thank you for responding, NAES.

I am a true light, no pink and no yellow undertones and went with light. In a few, very few, foundations I have gotten light/med but a true light works well for me as long as it is neutral. When the BE serum foundation first came out I got and used Bare Shell if that is any help.

I also got the IT CC in light but the color was just a tad off, bit dark and had undertones, wasn't neutral, at least not on me plus it    was and stayed very sticky/tacky on me     regardless how little I used so, in my opinion I would get light, just my opinion.

I love this foundation, love the whole kit.

edited to say,   sorry I posted before reading all the posts so see you did order light. I hope to see a review posted by you and what you think. I love this and hope you do as well.

       @doglover3, helloWoman Happy......

Question: Other than what you had posted\ ref: [ IT ] CC creme, did you compare IT to any other product foundation, i.e., Tarte?

The reason I ask is I have one of the original Tarte in ( light ) which has some yellow. Not so much that it is tacky - sticky or heavy. The former one( 8+ months old ) is leaning towards a more prominent yellow, but I use her little. About the amount of two pencil erases. Both are in ( light ). I use a generous amount of either Josie Maran oil and her white lotion moisturizer with spf47.

The only reason I choose a foundation \ any foundation is for the blush ( a light rosy ). With the oil, the foundation, I have what works for me, a beautiful glow. " This had taken me some time to learn >>>_ not_ all or any foundation can work for me.

Just a simple observation I wanted to share".

One of the most challenging small tasks in finding foundations, today...being in the Neutrals for pink undertones skins.

I appreciated your description image of IT's CC creme for yourself.

Also, knew from Mac foundations, there is a few neutrals. That was where I was going for color mapping, prior to this.

...have not use any OTC drugstore anything due to sensitive skin..

Always ask for a sample, enough for 2 applications, then summarize the compatibility for any allergic reaction.

 Thank you again, NAES
