Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

I used Bare Skin serum foundation in Bare Shell, Tarte liquid(forget which) but it was very dry and hard to apply being I do have dry skin. I also used 2 from Mally, defender bb(this was nice) and can use either light or light medium in that, also used Mally mousse in a pump can, IT cushion compact liquid foundation in light and the IT CC which was very heavy, felt like a mask on me and stayed very sticky/tacky even though I didn't use much.

So far my picks are this Doll in light but for a drugstore L'Oreal tru match is also very good, lumi for dry skin and original for normal skin. I can use either 2n as well as 3 n in the L'Oreal tru match but so far Doll in light is my favorite.

have my foundation on at least 12 hours and sometime 14 and this Doll lasts the best.

I will say sometimes in very humid weather all I do is my brows, eyes and lips. I really don't need a blush since I do have a very slight rosiness to my cheeks but sometimes with foundation that will cover that, sometimes.

I too need a neutral which is sometimes hard to find. The IT CC had a tad of yellow on me which I don't like at all and the color was just a bit dark but fair would have been too light but since I didn't care for it anyway, not on me, I don't use that.

so right though, so glad there are so many different things for us since we are all so different and need different things to meet requirements we want or need.

I was really not going to chance this Doll TSV but very glad I did now, first kit I ever got that I didn't cancel AD or send the kit back, a first for me.

Glad you found what works for you.

@doglover3 I agree with you.  I had almost given up on finding my perfect foundation, one that was neutral like my skin tone, was light enough and not heavy, and did not break me out.  It seems to me that a lot of foundations these days have too much yellow. Those make me look ill, so not a good look for me.  The other frustrating thing to me was that some would darken and turn my head orange within a few minutes, also not a good look 😳 So glad my search is over.

Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

you can say that again, have been in the car and looked in the mirror and couldn't believe my face, yellow, looked jaundiced, not good.

I don't know why more cosmetic companies don't make more neutral shades since I think that would be the majority, neutral?

I have no idea.  I know that it's great for some, but not for me.  IT for example, looks wonderful on my friend.  On me it looks terrible, too yellow, it darkens and turns me orange.

I LOVE the foundation! I have fair skin w a slight yellow undertone and the FAIR is a perfect color w NO yellow undertones like many foundations. Love how it goes on and blends beautifully! A big fan!

I think @doglover3 and @WenDoll10girl should get a (Doll10) room!

I just broke down and ordered the light in the TSV.  I used to wear Fairly Medium in BE foundation.  It had more neutral pink undertones than the light which was too yellow for my complexion.  The light in the Doll10 foundation looks neutral so I think it will work well for me.  The medium looks too yellow/orange for me.

I had not seen Joy for quite some time.  Sorry to hear that she has left the Q  I always enjoyed watching her.  A beautiful woman who seemed to be down to earth and modest in spite of her beauty.

Sadly, the Light in the Doll 10 foundation was much too light for my complexion.  It was also very thick which made me feel like I was wearing a mask.  Sent the TSV back  to QVC this afternoon.  The lip colors didn't work for me either.  There is something about the Doll 10 pale/nude colors that just doesn't work with my coloring.

Happily, the CC+ cream in light that was included in the recent IT Cosmetics TSV is perfect for my skin tone.  It is a nice neutral color versus the original light CC cream which was too yellow for my skin.  Provides great coverage and feels very light.  I applied a little bit of powder and powder blush to take down the shine and tackiness of the product.  Was very pleased with the final result.  The fact that it provides SPF 50 protection is a real plus.  I already use and like the tightline and like the lip product that was included in the TSV.  A win for me.

Happy for those of you who are pleased with the Doll 10 TSV and the foundation that was included.  Enjoy it!

Re: What color Doll 10 foundation if I'm BE Light?

I purchased the Doll 1o TSV.  I am not sure yet played with it twice and not good.  I purchased the medium and am usually a medium or sometimes tan in summer..  The color is not really dark enough and has too much yellow.  The color is nothing IMO.  It is the same as the foundations, no difference.  The blush does not show up on me used some others in my stach that was darker.  I like gloss and the mascara so far.

     @doglover3,

thank you for a very well defined ( from your experience) description.

" I have read more pros for L'Oreal Tru Match than any other foundations, be that Neutral or its compatibility with different skin preferences".

I jotted in the 2 color shades that you preferred.Neutrals.

I agree: Tarte is more heavy coverage+ yellow. When last in Ulta's last May, the beauty adviser told me there are 8 new shades, one being _neutral_     >>.....for anyone interested.

Do not know if you remembered Tova foundation line, but one of the best of my \ any top 3 I had ever used. Unfortunately ~ discontinued. She has 'new', now, more in competitive marketing with minerals, which I can not use.

I adore the shades and ease of Chanel and Dior, but cannot use; (?something in both that irritates my skin)....... Also, Lancome is a nay for me.

 Again, thank you. NAES
