@monicakm  I don't use prodcuts on my hair as it is just long and straight, so I have no advice.  I did want to say, however, that I love that style!  It's super cute and I'm glad you're loving it too!

My hair isn't straight straight.  It's got a bit of wave to it left to it's own devices.  And it's fairly thick.  She had to do a lot of thinning out to achieve this.  I couldn't believe the amt of hair on the floor   She hardly had to shorten it, but a lot of thinning.  Last time she cut my hair I had forgotten the picture so I had to try to explain it.  This time, with picture, she did a whole lot better

I wish there was a front image of this cut too.  I'd like to see if she has bangs/fringe.  I do.  They're choppy/irregularly cut.

I've had short-ish choppy hair for decades.  And 4-6 weeks is about right for a haircut.  What do you mean by "give your hair a rest"?

@monicakm  -  I was also wondering what @febe1 meant by "giving your hair a rest".  Are you not suppose to get it cut?  I thought cutting/trimming your hair was a good thing?

When I have a cut like this I use Nick's Flocker for styling and a little hold.

How do you know how many products and how often I use them  in my hair?  I'm so confused.  I wash my hair about every 4 days.  I use the Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus, Powder Play and Spray and Play Harder (hairspray).  My cut and products last 4 days between washing.
