I am your age @monicakm and also love makeup. It's my weakness, I own way more than necessary but still love to try new products. My favorites are eye products, love trying different looks and colors. Sometimes it comes out great, other times not so much, but I still love to experiment. Especially now that I'm home every day. If I don't like how it comes out, it's no big deal, it washes off.
I've never used false lashes though. My eyes are pretty round and I don't think that shape looks great with the lashes. What I wouldn't give to have almond shaped eyes! Luckily Revitalash has made my lashes grow like crazy so all I need is a decent mascara and a good tightlining

No idea who Baby Jane is. I expected the majority not to care for these lashes. Some people are just not too tactfull in saying so. Didn't expct that.

Thank you. My natural lashes were always very long. They touched my eyebrows. I can't count how many times I had to prove they were real In my 50s they started to not grow back as long. I'd even say they were short. I did the lash serum and after two tubes of it they stopped reacting to the serum and got short again. I don't wear these every day. They are my favorite but, like today, I have on demi whispies.

I wish I had the ability, patience, and tolerance to wear modest fake lashes on special occasions, but I don’t. Lash primer and 4-D mascara is as good as it’s gonna get.

I am 58, and I've been on these boards for a loooong time, it's gotta be 15 years, maybe 20! I go pretty natural with the makeup because I wrecked my face when I sunburned it repeatedly as a teen. Who knew then what I was doing? Not me- So sad. Now it's crepey and wrinkly and too much makeup just emphasizes it. Oh well, luckily I am in blessed to be in awesome perfect health, so we have to accept it all and make the best of it!

Thank you. My natural lashes were long long till my 50s and the pandemic has had minimal affect on my lifestyle. I live in an area that hasn't seen much of an impact.
This is the reason I don't look 61. Mom and dad at 78 and 83

I don't understand the question about why so long and short on one eye. Both lashes are the same. Lashes are naturally shorter on the insde corner and flair out towards the outside.
If you saw me with these lashes you would be concerned if I was OK??? Like if I had some kind of illness? Or mentally unstable? Would you be afraid I was contagious? I think I'd be afraid of someone that was concerned about my health because I had on lashes (that don't even touch my eyebrows!).
