I'm with ya.  Some people on these boards are incredibly rude and judgmental, and I found it was bringing out the worst in me.  That's why I don't post here much anymore.

Some people feel fine saying this stuff to you here because they are anonymous.  They would never say it to your face in person.  It really says more about who they are as people than it says about you.

I think it's natural to want to play up your best features. Many of us here are 70 and older and, in our younger days, tried all sorts of new make-up "tricks".

By the time one gets a little older, some feel there is not much they haven't tried and now prefer to just keep things simple for a variety of reasons...time, health, money, etc.

We all had our day and probably know more of what we want now because we did experiment. By the way, I agree with others....you do have pretty eyes.

You are so fortunate that people respond kindly on Reddit! My experience on there is people are brutal & cruel. Are you wanting to know our ages or to talk about make-up? I think if you want to discuss products or styles on the beauty section, please do. I bet you could help others or start a new trend on here.
