Like many of you, I used to use silicone products to protect my hair from the heat and give it shine. I have discovered that I actually prefer to use products that do contain dimethicone and cyclomethicone (however it is spelled) with other ingredients like oils and panthenol. I've noticed that these products feel like oily creams and provide the sleekest look to my hair. I've also noticed that they are often called lusterizers. My favorite for now is actually discontinued but is the Beyond the Zone Get'n Creamed. It had excellent reviews on Sally's website as do the two products I hope to try in the future--the Brazilian Tech Lusterizer and the Ion Lusterizer. Another product that I have tried that has similar ingredients and texture is the Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream. Does anyone else use products like these? Any that you can recommend? Just wanted to share
