I miss my weekly lunch and shopping with my DD.

I'm a real homebody, so that was my main weekly 'adventure'.

I still see DD once a week, here at my home, but no more lunches out or shopping trips.....sigh.

You are so right.  Didn't realize how much fun it used to be to pick a new one.  Ordered an old fav last week.  This could get boring.

I miss going to church & singing in the choir.

I miss going out with family and friends.

I miss browse shopping just for fun. All my shopping now is quick in and out which isn’t fun.

Here’s hoping 2021 will be better.

Re: What I miss

[ Edited ]

I saw my son, DIL and granddaughters on Sat. No hugs, kisses, couldn't even visit with them in their rooms...we stay outside. I definitely miss the weekly family dinners, wearing lipgloss, miss my gym and exercise classes. I will miss being with them for t'giving and Hanukkah, My DD lives in WA, so wouldn't have been seeing her as often and we do Zoom visits and Facetime. It's not the same.

I'm accepting this lifestyle because it's better than getting or giving someone COVID.

@goldensrbest .I agree.I went with my daughter yesterday to Sephora didn't buy anything, it's not fun anymore. If you know what you're looking for it's ok. I use to spend hours in there and yesterday I couldn't wait to get out. Same with Ulta.

I always wanted Q to offer a set of samples of fragrances so we could try before purchasing. Like maybe 10 different scents from different vendors that Q offers. There have been quite a few I've wanted to try but hate spending on something I haven't sniffed.(and the shipping/return $ makes it not worth trying a newbie). I purchased a wonderful set here from Penhaligon years ago that I loved and totally used up. Wish Q still offered this quality brand.

I miss to be able to breathe normally.  I have COPD.  I wish I could go into a store and walk around which I miss so much.  I am paying the price of being a smoker.  I am 7 years free of smoking now but it was too late for my lungs.  However, I make the best of what I can do.  I order everything online.  The drawback to that is all the boxes!  LOL
