@MagnoliaMs I do all my beauty "stuff" in the bathroom at the counter by the sink. I have a small bathroom and not a lot of space. I suppose cluttered is a good description. I try to keep it as organized as I can....😄

Oh I love this topic! I have a beautiful vanity in my bathroom. I say mine because when we built this house in our early 20s, it was meant to be shared with my husband. HA! I think I can conveniently say that our marriage has lasted 41 years because within the first two years (at most) I gave DH is own bathroom at the other end of the house The vanity used to be about 7ft long with two sinks. It's been shorted about 8" and just one sink now to make room for the soaking tub. I've included hubby's bathroom as well.

I love my bathroom. It's my happy place I keep it clean and organized.

I'd like it to be less cluttered, but I don't keep any makeup on top of the vanity/sink area. I keep a couple of bottles of body lotion on top, along with my electric toothbrush and small electric fan, and one jar of facial cream. I don't buy a lot of extra makeup - just what I need and use daily - and it goes in a purse organizer-type bag and is stored in one of the vanity drawers. Night cream, primers, firming facial wipes, toothpaste, medications, etc are all in my mirrored wall cabinet. Hair curlers are in a vanity drawer and blow dryer, flat iron, hair spray, etc are kept in the cabinet under the sink. I don't mind taking things out as I use them, and then putting them back when I'm finished.

@ECBG - I've never posted a picture here, but I plan to try. Once I figure it out I will post it. I also have to post a picture of my kimono; I haven't forgotten- I just need help! It will show up in the future!

ETA: Forgot to write- YOUR grandmother's is beautiful! Aren't we lucky to have them? For years growing up when we visited her I would sit at her vanity and play with her brush and comb. When I was a teenager and would stay for a month with her, I would still sit there. I'd never use makeup (worried about spilling something!), but I would sit there. When my mom and my aunt and uncles were clearing out her home I asked if I could have it.

I have been trying to post the 2 pictures showing my set up for a long while now....hubby had me use something called snip to shrink the size of it as Q's picture upload kept saying my file was to big!

I keep everything in the cabinets or drawers of the vanity. I can't stand the thought of clutter especially in the bathroom where bodily functions are attended to.

I have a black rectangle woven box (for lack of a better word) with compartments (open top) that I purchased at Hobby Lobby of all places!

Compartments are different sizes and honestly holds everything that I use every single day.

I keep everything in it and store it under my sink. I could not tolerate my bathroom vanity messy everyday. I have a few things that sit out every day but not a lot.
