I just looked up petrolatum on google and it throws mineral oil, petroleum  and petrolatum in same sentence and don't think I want to use those products if there is an alternative.

Cerave, buy some  for a natural oil ,try avocado oil.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I love  First Aid brand, or any of the Philosphy body butters. Also Soap and Glory butters and lotions are fantastic.

I agree Cerave cream(jar) is pretty good. But read ingredients to see if you want to use it. I'm now using BEEKMANS body creams in the jars, and I'm finding them to be very good. It keeps my skin very soft, and no crepiness whatsoever, all day.

First Aid Beauty works great for my skin especially in the winter. They have a TSV coming up on November 17th. I've also had good results with L'occitane creams, but they are more pricy than the First Aid Beauty.
