She has taken care of my parents basically single-handedly. Between my knee surgeries and weakness from my heart, although I didn't know what it was, I've not been able to do much. I went to see my dad yesterday.  He is not responding to me. He did the same thing when I stopped by to see him before my surgery. He shook hands with my husband last night and tried to communicate with him but not with me.

@monicakm I am sorry to hear that about your dad. It is difficult to see a parent slipping away. You have had to deal with a lot recently. Take care.

I saw that you ordered a red lip gloss. I'm looking forward to reading more about how you like it! Have you ever used Instacart to pick up your Sephora order? The service isn't available everywhere, though.

I don't live in an area where instacart is available. I will definitely let everyone know how I like the red lip gloss. As sheer as it will be and with a blue undertone I think I'm going to like it.

It's Sunday night. I've done my 30 minutes of walking in 10 minutes intervals and I'm laying in bed with heat on my back and shoulders and ice on my chest.  I think I'm doing pretty good. Staples are out.  I don't know what questions I've answered and what I haven't LOL so please bear with me. Wish I thought of putting ice on my chest days ago. My two latest Sephora orders are hanging out in Dallas, still! They are supposed to be here tomorrow. It includes the red lip gloss.

Hi Monicakm, I wasn't reading was a very the forums for a while. But I've started again and I really enjoy your posts. Love your pictures. I'm going to tell you this because YOU MUST NOT PUSH YOURSELF!!!!!  I slipped at fell in March 2023 while grocery shopping. I slipped on a half frozen piece of onion.  I broke my back. Had to have two surgeries. The second was a spinal fusion's that involved many vertebrae in my back. I'm tired so I don't remember which vertebrae.?I'm tired. Spinal fusion iis one of the top 10 most painful surgeries. I live alone. After the surgery the patient is not allowed to bend, lift or twist for 3 months. Thank goodness my son lives near by. However, he has to be at work at 5:00 am😳😳😳. He has epilepsy and his trigger is lack of sleep. He has grand-mal (tonic-colonic) seizes. He did as much as he could but I would send him home so he was safe. This is what I felt like after the second surgery.  So as frustrating as it is and as restless as you get please, please so you do set you recover back by doing more then you should. I tried to do to much and my blood pressure and pain level went through the roof. So do what the doctor said. You are very knowledgeable about many things for your own sake be smart about this. I hate to see anyone suffer. By the way I don't have any autoimmune disease or anything that woill weaken my bones. So please from one caring human being to another I wanted to tell my story so people could see my mistakes. Heal quickly and we'll.☺️🍀☺️ . Sweet dreams
