Re: Wenner's share about your fur babies ( feathered, finned and scaled too)

RESCUE'S ARE THE BEST!! Adopt. They will truly appreciate the fact that you saved them, every day. They always remember it + you can see it in their eyes!!

if I had a house I would have dogs too but since I live in a condominium I have 4 cats lol. My oldest Ozzie, is 14. I found him as a small kitten wondering on a busy street. The other three I got from animal control. One, Sophie, is a chocolate point Siamese, Chloe is a long haired tortie and Fiona is a tabby. All very different personalities and a trip, to say the least, to share my home with

Re: Wenner's share about your fur babies ( feathered, finned and scaled too)

This is the best thread ever! I have a dog who just had her 5th birthday. She is my "dog daughter" and is my heart. She's asleep at my feet as I type and I tell you, when I am sitting on the couch and she comes over and puts her head on my leg or just randomly licks my hand or stands in front of me and barks demanding my attention....it just kills me. I had adopted a cat years ago from a shelter and while I was filling out the paperwork I was literally crying my eyes out because I am allergic to cats and I knew that I couldn't keep her but her time was up at the shelter and it was her last day but for some reason, I just couldn't walk away from her. That had never happened to me before. Thankfully, my sister agreed to keep her for me and that wonderful cat lived the rest of her life in total comfort. Best cat ever. I think I have issues (lol) because I found out that I am also allergic to my dog but she's not going anywhere. Dog daughter stays with me!

This is a picture of one of my cats, I haven't uploaded one of my others. His name is Puccini and my husband rescued him with his mama and siblings last year when they were still nursing babies less than a pound. Poor thing was born outside and was going to be taken to the shelter by his "owner". We kept his sister and found a home for mama and the other kitten. He is one of the babies that was long haired. He's really hard to photograph though, since he's solid black smoke, long haired and has really shiny fur. He's shed a lot of his coat for summer though.

Here he's being cat in the box lol. This is our Chihuahua Mimi's toy box but she took all the toys out so he's laying in the box lol.

This is a picture of my sweet boy, taken last weekend. {#emotions_dlg.wub} He'd probably never win a contest since his bottom teeth are a little crooked, but that doesn't matter to me. He's my buddy. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

ETA - as much as I am enjoying everyone's pictures, and would love to continue to brage on my own, it's come to my attention that posting pictures in a public forum like this could be a privacy risk. Therefore, I've removed mine.

I don't have any cute pics, but I have a gray, black, and white tabby cat that I have had for 15 years. His name is Peanut. I also have a brown and white jack russell beagle mix named Abby. She is a year old and she is a Wen pet.
