LOL!!! I made myself laugh too!
yes, I'm doing well and thank you! I hope all is well with you too. Speaking of Dooters, I'm hoping he spills the beans on the new goodies we can expect tomorrow. And yes, he is quite funny. He has lots of FB friends too!
btw - did you get your 613 NBT??
I hope Dooters spills a bunch a whole bunch of beans too! Oh my goodness, I did get the 6 13 NBT! Yes, I ordered a backup already and I think some very happy people might be getting some unopened JM body butters for gifts in the VERY near future. I actually have very fair skin like Tracey Dunn Redford and she demonstrated it on her leg when I was ordering. I could not believe I watched my skin change right before my eyes as hers did in the demonstration! It saved my cuticles overnight! Nothing ever saves my cuticles during winter in Wisconsin no matter how much I apply it and this stuff did it overnight! To say I am in love with it is an understatement...
so happy to hear you're doing well
LOL! I had a feeling those JM body butters would be cast aside once you started using 613 NBT…it's that good isn't it?
Glad you love it!!

I came out of my sugar coma (thank TheraPony and XXXXXXX for being perfect enablers) and thought I'd wander over to the the forums to see what's the haps. Always interesting before, during and after a TSV WEN-a-Thon. This might be the best response to why QVC gives WEN so much time. Clearly there response is from a very savvy business person:
Statement: Ridiculous. It's become the Wen network. How many hours of shampoo can people watch. I think their programming needs a real shake up. Every show is the same
Response:
They don't schedule their programming around people watching QVC for entertainment.
Statistically, the type of people, who watch shopping channels all day long, for hours at the time, are NOT necessarily Network's best bet selling product to.
Who buys the most from a product line? Yes, that's right - people who like this line and use it's product! People who have money to spend on their favorite product as well.
These are usually busy, working people, or people running their business, often with large families to buy a product for also. In order to target these types of Buyers QVC plans their programming schedule.
Normally, buyers able to afford purchasing plenty of favorite pricy product, are NOT the folk watching QVC for hours. They tune in to watch a program of their interest, and tune out of channel when it's over.
Such important Vendors like Chaz Dean have a capacity of bringing a lot of money during his TSV, his product is very good, like it or not. Here is your reason why a lot of time is given for Wen shows this Weekend.
Network wants to get REAL BUYERS of product, and catch them in between their busy everyday schedules. Additionally, network is trying catch attention of newcomers, new watchers and new potential buyers, thus running repetitive shows on the weekend, when most folk are off work and able to catch a show or two.
If QVC was not a Home Shopping Channel and would schedule programming entertaining folks, they could run soap operas, or something. Though it's hard for me to miss, there is plenty of drama already happening around Wen, right here on Q's boards!

Wow. Thank you for letting me know, Bruingirl! Well, I do sell a little, but "very savvy business person"?
Don't know, this is just a common sense to me. I believe, when train of thought in one's head leads only and always back to "dear me" and how things happening in outer world affect "dear me", they loose common sense, and only know how "they feel" about this or that.
Generally speaking, common sense reveals itself only, when everybody's interests are taking to consideration, and whole world is not seen as a mechanism rotating around one individual in the center. Then everything becomes much more clear, fair and balanced.

Bruingirl this is so very true. I do not sit around and watch QVC all day long. I am thankful for all the shows as I am lucky (not so much this time) to catch even one live show. Q
QVC is NOT in the business of entertainment- they are in the business to SELL. That is why they aren't changing their programming for all the complainers about the "stale" schedules- those people (admittedly) aren't even buying very much and are watching for all the wrong reasons.
QVC is in the business to make money and apparently doing a good job of it seeing as how long they've been in business. I don't watch 99.9% of the shows QVC has and as such, I don't beeyotch about it constantly, spending hours posting narratives about the QVC programming. That is just a waste of time and energy on something as silly as a shopping channel which, again, is not in the business of entertaining me for hours on end.
