Right, I have DirecTV and QVC is on channel numbers 275 and 317. QVCP is on 315 and is just a rerun of the same shows from three hours previous. It's great if you missed something in the last three hours and want to view the presentation. Not so great if the items were popular and you wanted to order since they are often sold out by then

This is OT but has anyone else noticed that all the QVC channels are HD but HSN is not? At least not on DirecTV. I so prefer HD and I'm fortunate to have a setup so I can view it. One reason I don't watch HSN is because it is NOT HD.

And I do NOT have QVC in HD. I have HSN and it is in HD, so the opposite of what you have, although I do not really watch HSN. I have Dish Network.

HappyDaze, QVC Plus is a great additional channel to have. After our Wen Chats during Chaz's shows, sometimes I'll realize I may have missed something during the show. So I just DVR the upcoming QVC Plus repeat (which comes up three hours later) and then listen to the segment that I wanted to listen to for a second time

KJPA, thanks so much for this information. I didn't know that QVC changes the product video feeds to reflect the latest presentation of every item.

During the last one-hour Wen show in June, Chaz mentioned that Gina would have segments in the 3am ET QVC shows on July 8th and July 18th.

The July 8th show at 3am ET made sense because it was a Beauty IQ show, but the July 18th show is not a beauty show so I think he may have gotten the date/time for that second show wrong.

I actually saw the segment as it was recorded on regular QVC channel. I thought Gina did fine and the ladies' hair looked pretty. Pretty awesome they styled it themselves!

Have you noticed more and more vendors are having stand ins? I've now seen stand-ins more often now for WEN, Fresh (this one surprised me!), Tarte, Mally, Laura geller, IT cosmetics, and Laura geller. It seems like a trend now! I don't blame the owners- it would get old traveling back and forth doing segments, sometimes for only a 5 or 10 minute stint!

HappyDaze, I was just thinking the same thing. I mainly flipped through the 3am Beauty IQ show that had a Wen segment featuring Gina, but I did notice a number of vendor stand ins. I agree that it does make sense when there's just a single short segment or two.

QVC Plus also does special shows -not just replays 3 hrs later. The "You're Home with Jill" shows are shown on QVC Plus and some Lisa Robertson Shows are replayed. I think some of the LRS shows are either new or remixed from several shows, I caught one that was all GILI products and at the end LR said it was great having an all-GILI show on QVC Plus. In my area, about half the QVC channels are HD, but Plus isn't.

I don't think I have the option to add QVC HD or QVC Plus. I certainly won't pay more for my package just to get them, even if they were available. I always thought it was weird we don't get the channel in HD in this day and age.

HD, sorry you're not getting QVC in HD. We have Directv, but our area got QVC HD added to the HD line up just last year - sports came first, go figure. With Directv, it was automatic - one day I turned it on and it was HD. You might check on Dish's website and see if QVC is on their HD lineup and if so, check to see why you're not getting it. If so, maybe all you need is a reset.

I know the cable/satellite providers have to pay to broadcast the channels - the recent fiasco between Directv and The Weather Channel is proof of that - but I don't understand why some areas get certain HD channels and others don't, and I worked for Directv!
