I got a card in the mail because I bought WEN in the past. The card said I could "collect" on my purchase from damages. I did not like the product, paid quite a bit for it but I don't think I suffered any harm. Not sure what I am to do.
I feel the company should have owned up to any problems earlier, but I also feel those harmed should have checked to see if any medical problem caused the hair loss, as in low thyroid.
Any comments, suggestions, ideas?

Do what you feel and know to be the right thing.

here is the wording for the tier 1 claims..... $25 settlement.
"Any person who purchased or used Wen can file a Tier 1 claim for a one time $25 cash payment as compensation for claims of personal injury after using Wen or for alleged false statements regarding Wen."
*you may be entitled to compensation if you purchased or used Wen for personal use in the USA between 11/1/07-9/19/16

You can read a lengthy discussion of just this topic if you searched under WEN class action suit settlement.

To me, I feel like no harm no foul in these cases. I think if Chaz did not insist that his product works for everyone and if it doesn't work you are just not using all the products you should and not enough of it. That being said, who would continue to use a product that made their fall out no matter what the creator claimed.

Maybe it fell out with first time use. I wish people on this board would stop assuming.

@GSPgirli agree.
not only that.......some people may NOT have noticed anything until months later, after continued use. there are so many scenarios that i agree, no one can assume what damage it has caused to people who have had to consult a doctor.

How do you know they have not checked?

What are the settlement terms regarding unclaimed money?
I don't keep up with class action, did WEN settle?
The way I see it, there is no right or wrong, the money is available to be distributed so it's a matter of how many people will claim a slice of pie.
If they agreed to settle, it's over, it doesn't affect WEN at this point, unless they get to keep the money if no one claims it, not happening ![]()
It's not like if you don't claim it it's better for WEN, it just means that your share goes back in the pot.
The more number of people claim, the less you get, that's it
Is it worth the bother is more my question. Nobody gets much in these class actions.
I am OBVIOUSLY not a lawyer.
