I never had a hair loss problem with wen bu I truly believe from my three years of using it that it doesn't stop color loss anymore than a good sulfate free shampoo would. Even water causes color loss and you need a lot of water to rinse with wen. I'm sure there will be those hat say it helped with color loss but I think that would only be true if you were using a strong shampoo with sulfates. I used it for three years and always had to pull color though to the ends.
