Price Calculations for Cost of Cleansing Conditioner Portion of TSVs

* assuming you were *just* buying the TSVs for the Cleansing Conditioner portion, below I've calculated the how 16 oz. & 32 oz. of CC *plus* S&H costs out in the various kits (and there is just a single S&H charge for each multi-piece TSV):

* Spring & Fall TSVs - $60 + $8.50 S&H - 48 oz. total CC - $22.83 / $45.66

* December TSV - $80 + $10 S&H - 80 oz. total CC - $18 / $36

Also, to try to minimize buying TSVs with unneeded extras, I spent a bit of time getting a general sense of Wen's quarterly TSV offerings. The information below is a compilation of what I've seen since I bought my first TSV in December 2010 (and, of course, it's always subject to change). Prices listed below are for this past year's TSVs and specials:

* December TSV -- price: $80

1) Includes: (5) different 16oz. CCs

-- In the past, the regular wheat based CCs were offered (SAM, TT, FIG, LAV, plus POM which is soy based). For the past two Decembers, the TSV have included four different Seasonals & POM (all soy based).

-- schedule: usually the first or second weekend of December.

* September TSV -- price: $60

1) Always includes a 32oz. CC and some form of 16oz. of CC ... in 2011: 16oz. bottle of Standard CC -- 2012: (8) 2oz. travel packs of Standard CC -- 2013: 16oz. bottle of Seasonal CC

2) a popular Wen item that a lot of people have wanted to be included in a TSV so they could try it in an affordable way (each time the fragrance was the same as the standard CC you selected): 2011: 12oz. RTM -- 2012: 4oz. remoist -- 2013: 2oz. treatment oil.

3) In 2012: 2oz. RTM in Standard CC fragrance -- in 2013: 2oz. RTM in Seasonal fragrance was also included.

-- schedule: usually the first weekend in September, or the last weekend in August.

* September 2012 & 2013 -- 32oz. Seasonal CCs A-D -- price: $50

-- This is your only opportunity to purchase the 32 oz. size of the Seasonal CCs.

-- You may select either the 32oz. Fall Seasonal CC as a single purchase, or choose the 32oz. Seasonal CCs A-D plan for a total of four shipments spaced 90 days apart. -- If you do not sign up for the 32 oz. Seasonal CCs A-D plan during this special offering in the fall, you will not have an opportunity to purchase the 32oz. sizes of the upcoming Winter, Spring & Summer Seasonal CCs later on.

-- schedule: In 2012, it was offered the same weekend as the Fall TSV and sold out in about 14 hours. In 2013, it was offered on 9/20 which was three weeks after the Fall TSV, and Chaz did his best to make sure this A-D plan was offered through the end of November.

* September 2013 -- 613 CC Gallons -- price: $199

-- schedule: 2013 was the first time 613 CC gallons were offered. They sold out in 48 hours (from 9/19 at 1:12am ET to 9/21 at 1:40am ET). Going forward, the 613 CC gallons will probably be offered each September, while the other CC gallons will be offered in June.

* June (month) -- Wen Standard & Kids CC Gallons -- price: $177

-- schedule: for entire month of June until they sell out

* Spring TSV -- price: $60

1) 32oz. CC (choice of core scents: SAM, TT, FIG, LAV, POM, CA -- BGT added in 2014)

2) 16oz. CC (2012: Seasonals -- 2013 & 2014: 613)

3) styling creme (2012 & 2013: 6oz. SC in core scent chosen -- 2014 5oz. 613 SC)

4) plus one additional product (2012: finishing creme -- 2013: 2oz. 613 RTM -- 2014: 2 oz. RTM in core scent chosen)

-- schedule: in previous years it had been was scheduled in April, but for 2013 & 2014 it has been scheduled in March.

Of course, shipping and tax is extra, but you're only paying one shipping charge of around $10 for several items (with the exception of the single-item June or September Wen gallons, & 32 oz. Seasonal CCs A-D plan).

So I usually make my TSV buying decisions based on what items are likely to be in upcoming TSVs and it's worked pretty well for me so far.

Fall 2013 - Summer 2014 Seasonal CCs

I think this one only had 3 deliveries. I ordered this one and with the Spring Orange Blossom being shipped, I received a completion notice on the auto-delivery. I bought Lavender and received FAS, WCM and am waiting SOB and then I guess I'll have to order the Summer Honey Peach separately. I'm actually kind of annoyed about that, but I remember being a little confused by QVC when they said you would get 3 shipments in the A-D.
