$25 is not much. Was the amount due to level of damage? I saw some women with these massive bald spots. I sure hope they got $1,000s

What cleansing product and or conditioner are you using?
I wish I filed but I could not remember the date, time of incident. I never had a bald spot but I used the tea tree and I turned red as a lobster on face, neck back, chest, hands, where ever the rinse off touched my body. I had to take days off of work for the red rash was that bad. I was iching like my whole body was covered in wool.
I mostly Use Pau Mitchell for they are super gentle shampoos

@kcladyz- Well, they do tell you to do a patch test with any new product you use, but most people just ignore that.
Someone I knew used a very well-known brand of hair color for the first time without doing a patch test - I mean, what could happen? Well, she ended up in the emergency room, she had such a severe reaction. Her scalp and face were actually swelling and she was scared to death. (No, she didn't sue the company, but she learned a very valuable lesson.)
The cardinal rule: ALWAYS do a patch test on an inconspicious spot 24 hours BEFORE you use any new product. Sounds like you had an allergic reaction to something in the tea tree product and that can happen to anyone with any product.

@Madremia Yes, took me by surprise but my $25 showed up last week. Cashed it, spent it.

Noone patch tests shampoo. Really.

I did not know about the class action lawsuit ... I stopped using WEN because my hair came out in clumps. Twenty-five dollars would have purchased a few bottles of another brand ... I remember spending over $70 for each 32 oz w/shipping & handling. I must have been out of my mind.

I respectfully disagree. You do, if there's any chance you could have an allergic reaction.
(And, JMO, I think that's what happened to many of the claimants in this lawsuit.)

@giraffe77- If you purchased it through QVC, I don't know how you could've not known. They sent out notices to everyone, as far as I'm aware. And it was certainly mentioned in dozens (hundreds?) of threads on these forums.
Maybe you changed address and QVC doesn't have your up-to-date information?
