@Shanus  I hate the tube mascara.  I tried Trish McEvoy tube mascara several times and it pulled off some of my eyelashes when I removed it.  Never again.  I'd rather use the regular waterproof mascara,  when I need it (vacation and special events) and just take more time removing it carefully.

@nyc1 .. I don't think tubing mascara pulls off your lashes,  It's just the tubes coming off.   I have only used tubing mascara for years now.

How timely...last week I lost my mascara....don't ask.

Anyway there was no way I was going to a busy store before Christmas.   I stopped into the local drug store and bought the cheapest waterproof mascara they had....Wet n Wild  $3.99, and I love it.   No smearing or flaking.

@Boehm Collector  I'm glad it works for you.  It didn't for me,  and I followed the directions perfectly.

I use and like L'Oreal Lash Paradise waterproof mascara.  Waterproof or tubing are the only ones that seem to not smear on me.  I must have watery eyes.  I also laugh and cry a lot.  LOL.

I am planning to try the essence tubing, but I have not found it in stores.  It's always sold out in my area or not carried.

People look for different things in a masacra. To me it really comes down to personal preference that I think can only be determined by trial and error.

@nyc1 .. tubing mascara doesn't pull your lashes out.   What you are seeing at the tubes that surround the lashes.

I dont care for waterproof mascara, it seems like I can never really remove it, always looks black under my eyes after trying to remove it.

Never waterproof, only washable. I would never use any removers near my precious eyes. Just soap,water and done.

@charsha

I recommend Wander Beauty serum mascara...it has health benefits for lashes.

What soap do you use to remove mascara? It seems that soap could also irritate your eyes, so it must be a mild one .
