What is BB Cream?

It is said that the formula comes from Germany where dermatologists prescribe it to heal laser skin surgery because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties. Famous South Korean actresses then began using it for beauty purposes and since Asian dramas are huge all over, a craze was born. The trend that started in Korea first spread to Japan then to South East Asia and is now quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

Which one is the original BB cream?

I've started using Missha's BB creams since last Dec and I do like them. Recently, I bought PureDerm's Magic BB cream. While I prefer Missha's, PureDerm's shade seems to be better for my skintone which is somewhat yellow-based. I was curious about the original BB cream... and word on the street is that the original BB cream is Dr. Schrammek Blemish Balm.

PS. I'm not affiliated with this store. I googled for this BB Cream and found that this store sells it. It is also sold on Amazon for a lower price.

I was very excited when I finally found the original BB cream and wanted to try it.... but to my disappointment, the original BB cream does not have SPF... So, I'll stick to using my Missha and Purederm BB creams.

If anyone uses Dr. Schrammek BB cream, I would love to know what you think about it.
