Waiting for the Pendulum to Swing to Cool Eyeshadow Shades

Haven't bought e/s palettes or singles in forever!  They all look alike what with the warm shades.  I cannot wear warm shades - including peach.  There is a glimpse of hope, though.  I saw two palettes on youtube that are leaning toward cools.  Bring them on!!!

@pommom   Sephora has a 'cool' eueshadow palette that comes in lt. cool, med. cool and dk. cool shades. I bought the lt. cool and med. cool. Very pretty on-matte and shimmer shades. $14.00 each.

@pommom   Cool shadows must be on the way! Before this peachy/sunset craze, all shadows were brownish/taupe/beige/nude. It is time!!!

Totally agree! I just bought a Laura Geller for the love of chocolate set at TJ maxx mainly because I really liked the eyeshadow palette in the kit.

@Maestra1

Thanks so much for the rec!  Is it the Sephora brand?

Re: Waiting for the Pendulum to Swing to Cool Eyeshadow Shades

Cool shadow Ladies: I’ve researched 2 great palettes.

Marc Jacobs. Steeletto. (greys, cool browns, etc.). Matte &

Shimmers, but can lightly apply a matte over

those to tone down a bit $49

Too Faced Natural Lust Palette (Cruelty Free). Lg. w/

                   many shadows/finishes

neutral cool shades of pink. rose, medium

                   brown tones.  $59

Yes, both kind of expensive. Good color payoff, little fallout. Have used both in Pro Kit and tired of waiting for other new ones. Will be purchasing these for personal use at Sephora today. Shucks! Wish I’d thought of it during VIB discount. Oh well.

***Have been trying to purchase fewer expensive makeup items instead of a lot of drugstore ones that have disappointed. Tossed many Milani shadow palettes, but my expensive palettes & lipsticks made the cut.

***Also will purchase Marc Jacobs 3 single shadows in a cool all over shade, a light heather and a light grey to layer over warm tones in my other palettes.

I am still waiting for the pendulum to swing away from those hideous matte lipsticks and  even more hideous skinny jeans. I've never seen anyone of any description look good in either, not even models.

Still waiting for shades of gray.  You rarely see gray in any palettes.  It's all brown.  Sure, brown can be cool, but I'd rather have all tones of gray.
