@AnnieBelle wrote:Does anyone else find it ironic that a line of make up is called "Love Who You Are?" If I really loved who I am, would I be concerned about using making to enhance or change or beautify me?? I'd be just fine as I am!
Now, I do like Kim and appreciate her wit, drive, determination and talent, just feel if they felt they needed to change the name, Belle Beauty, there might have been a better option. JMHO
Good point @AnnieBelle! I think the acronym is dumb and every time I see it I waste brain cells trying to remember what it stands for. Most times I end up saying "WHAT. EVER"!
The eye shadow sticks from the recent TSV are horrible. Go on nice and creamy, then crease immediately and disappear. Maybe she should rename the line DWY$ (Don't Waste Your $).

I think if Kim's line was an acronym that could be pronounced it would sound a lot better.💝
@cheriere I saw that segment last night- it was LYS Beauty which stands for Love Yourself Beauty- they should just call it Love Yourself Beauty rather than LYS. I totally agree - if Kim's acronym could be pronounced, it would sound better.
Why couldn't Kim keep "Belle Beauty" as the brand and then print the phrase "Love who you are" in pretty lettering on the cosmetic packaging? That way she could keep the brand name and make the new phrase a slogan for the brand. Either way, I really like Kim and she is showing so much poise and strength while going through Bells Palsy and she's bringing awareness to the condition. Go Kim!
Im so glad you caught that other product being presented too. When I first seen it, I thought wait, what?😃
That was exactly what they should've done! She should hire you to be in charge of branding...really. That's the perfect solution and sure makes a lot more sense.💝
@cheriere Thank you, Cheriere - it would be really fun to work in branding, especially for Kim Gravelle! You know, this whole time I've seen LYS beauty products online and in stores, and I kept trying to figure out what the acronym stands for and last night I finally found out by watching QVC . I think that acronyms are annoying when it comes to brand names- I don't want to have to try figure out meanings of acronym names when I'm buying products from different brands- it should be a plain and simple catchy name with a slogan and that's it.

I couldn't agree more.💝. If you have to guess at the meaning, it's not working lol.😃

@cheriere - You might be talking about RMS Beauty. RMS are the initials of founder Rose-Marie Swift.
This is a newer line for me and I've become a fan! The first time she was on QVC was on one of Shawn's shows. Shawn spent the whole time talking about the shade SHE was wearing, and Rose-Marie had to scurry through the shades! So it was a little confusing!
Later there was another show and Rose-Marie could talk more about the shades. I felt comfortable with the shade I ordered, but after it came I wasn't sure. So I went to Blue Mercury. The two ladies there couldn't even decide! They gave me two samples to try at home.
I booked an appointment with one of Rose-Marie's specialists. I had to wait a while, but it was worth it! I didn't tell her anything about what I had experienced and went on Zoom with a completely bare face. She knew right away what color would look best, and she told me why. It was one of the two samples Blue Mercury had given me!
She recommended blush, and I love it! Since we had a time limit, and we were doing just face, I didn't ask about eyes or lips.
I have increased my collection since!
Oh, I love RMS.
This was LYS beauty. It stands for Love Your Self. It was only briefly featured last night after Kim's show.

I am so happy you commented on these! I had the same experience and couln't return them fast enough!
Went to ULTA and purchased ELF eyeshadow sticks for $5 each and used their $3.50 off $15 coupon. They are wonderful!!!
Another bonus was I got to choose the colors that I will actually use.
Even though Kim's TSV was a good price, many of the colors weren't for me.

I like Kim but she took really bad advice on the name change. There are a lot of people who will roll their eyes and pass by her products based on the name alone. No one needs products with names like this.

@cheriere I completely agree ! If a brand makes me have to do the extra work of trying to figure out what their name means, then I just feel frustrated and put the item back onto the display. I don't want to have to think when I buy makeup !

@beach-mom I forgot to mention IHKWIP! That's another brand name that confused me at first . I wonder why they didn't just name the brand, EQUIP?
