Those who use exfoliating or microfiber face cloths, please tell me which is best, and why. I do have 2 cloths, both very different, and need more, so please tell me what I should look for. Also, why are these different from our usual cotton washcloths??

Campanella Fresh Face.
Fell in love with these two Christmases ago and still love them. They are the only cloths I know that truly work with water only. Mascara washes right off.
Given them as gifts often.
Oh and my pups love them, too. They have their own set (animal print of course).

I'd give you my opinion since I only use those microfiber cloths on my face. But since I haven't read every post I figure it's best not to mention it.
Oh! What the heck! OK, I just buy those QVC sells where you get like 15-20 for maybe 20$ to 25$.
I don't think they need to be expensive. Just don't forget to NOT use fabric softner.
I've found that even Maybelline waterproof mascara will come out of them. They do for me anyway.
I only use them for my face. I wash my face with warm water every morning and night. But then I use Dr. Denese microfiber pads afterward. Then I use Hydroshield.
I think any moisturizer (a pretty good one) would work. I don't think you need to spend a lot of money.
I also think there's probably other ways to find a glycolic acide (that's what's in the Dr. D's microfiber pads).
I used to get the gycolic acid from a health food store (vitamin shop) before I found Dr. Denese.
Over on HSN Sylvester Stalone's wife has sold something similar, larger and works just as well for less money.
I used to buy her's too. It's called Serious Skin Care. I just checked and she's still there. Been there for years.
I don't think just the microfiber clothes do the trick entirely. But then I'm not a PHD, Dr or anything. I just know what works for me, my daughter and friends I've told about using them.

I'm confused...Campanella cloths? Sounds like they have a cleanser in them? I thought microfiber cloths are regular washcloths but a different texture...you know, the ones we use in shower, everyday? Am I mistaken?

Microfiber is an engineered material where particles, oil and grease are trapped and held inside microscopic 'fingers' in the cloth. Cotton can only absorb a certain amount and cannot hang on to particles, or whatever, as mf can. Because mf cloths hang on to oils and particles like best of friends, they need to be laundered in very warm or hot water using 'free-and-clear' type liquid detergent....no powders or dyes.
I buy mf cloths in a box of 50-count. They are white and thin...like a regular cotton face cloth...and they are soft yet have a terry-like texture so they really cleanse and gently exfoliate nicely. I get them from MicrofiberWholesale dot com...search 'wipes'. $18 for a box of 50, always free shipping and no minimum. I found out about these cloths from their CS rep who told me their employees use them for makeup removal.
ETA- I have used those Campanelli face cloths before and I thought they were too soft to do any exfoliating. They were also a bit too thick for my taste. I like my face cloths to be on the thinner side.

Related, but not exfoliating..... for cleansing, I love m
MakeUp Erasers. I use them damp for removing makeup, or use a light facial soap and remove that with the eraser. I have several, and They last forever

I bought some on Amazon that I like (Sinland microfiber facial cloths). They came in a pack of 2, not the mega-packs that QVC offers. They remove all makeup and everything washes out of them easily...no staining.

No they don't. At least the ones I have don't.
