What if you were limited to 3 skin care items and only 3 items of makeup. What would those be? You can be specific and add shades and brands.

My skin care: 1. Soothing Cleansing Oil (Bobbi Brown), 2. SPF (Neutrogena Soft Touch or Neutrogena Hydro Boost 50) and my tinted moisturizer which is also Bobbi Brown in Porcelain.

Makeup: 1. Concealer (NARS Radiant Concealer in Vanilla)  2. NARS stick blush in Orgasm (cheeks and lips) and mascara (L'Oreal Voluminous in Blackest Black) 3. Eyeliner to tightline (Mally's pencil in Sailor...navy blue).

What would be your choices? We may read about some new products to try.

I've never used much on my face. Cleanse, exfoliate on occasion, moisturize, and serum.

During the decades I worked, I limited makeup to some eye shadow, brow, and a little blush. I haven't worn makeup, other than occasionally on my eyebrows, since I retired. People don't have to look if they don't like it.

I'm getting close to 70 and most people guess that I'm in my 50s.

Eva Naturals Retinol

Advanced Clinicals Glycolic

Clean & Clear Astringent

Color correcting primer

Eyeshadow (that can also be used as                        liner)

HOWEVER.....in all honesty.....I get Voluma® twice a year.

Edited to add:   If I was not limited to only three products from each category....I have a FILE CABINET full of "beauty products"....     di

@Desertdi   How do you like the Voluma? I was thinking about it. I'm thinning out in the temple area. Cheeks are still round and pudgy, but high cheekbones keep the facial volume in check....  None needed to fill in cheeks or raise that area.

@ Shanus, LOVE  my nars stick  in Org. and L'Oreal blacket black mascara. I have been using Tatcha cleansing oil for a couple of years. When Bobbi Brown sold her business my concern would there be changes in her formula. I would like to use her cleansing oil again. Is it the same formula?. I am unable to compare her ingredients with Tatcha. I appreciate your advice moore then I can express in words. Hopefully YOU WILL ACCEPT A SINCERE THANK YOU!!!Also, use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.

@sligo   Thank you for the compliment. Bobbi Brown's oil has remained the same with a few tweaks that haven't made a difference in performance. It's the cleansing oil I've found (tried others) that has a pleasant and not overpowering fragrance. It removes all traces of makeup (and most importantly spf which is not removed with a foaming cleanser). It also removes all my eye makeup, mascara too, without rubbing and tugging the delicate eye area.

Several times during the year the supersize oil cleanser is avail. and I purchase two. They last me for the year.

Skincare: cleanser (either L'oreal Revitalift or Neutrogena); Glow Recipe juicy pink moisturizer or when SPF is needed, Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer. Sometimes I combine the two.

Makeup: concealer (elf camo or NYX), elf eye primer, elf eyeshadow.

@Shanus    I have been using Voluma since it was first marketed in 2011.    I also only need it in the cheekbone/temple area.   I have had EXTENSIVE dental work (implants), and that is when I experienced "sagging" in the upper cheek area.

I go to a "derm-spa" (not a plastic surgeon).   I have never had any side effects, except for the usual "pin pricks" that show for a couple days.

Worth every cent to me!   di

Edited to add:    NOBODY has ever noticed anything...(and I had co-workers who definitely would have "said something" if they "suspected").
