I knew something was going on when they recently stopped listing the daily "Beauty IQ Steal." I don't watch that channel, but l occasionally check out the offerings online.

There are so many presentations of beauty products on the other two channels, that l never understood why they needed a separate "beauty" channel in the first place...

I don't necessarily think they needed a special beauty channel either but they have it so air it! Why start a specific channel, supposedly for all beauty and then fiddle around with it.

They messed it up over the holidays with gift giving shows like we didn't have enough of that on the other 2 channels. And now this. If they have found that it's not worth their while to have a Beauty IQ Channel then pull the plug on it. In the very least rename it because it's certainly not Beauty IQ.

What are the typical Beauty IQ hosts doing? Are they hosting cooking shows or are they just not scheduled to work at all?

By the way, Courtney Cason and Elise Ivy have been doing QVC podcasts. There are several interviews they've done there with -- Isaac Mizrahi, Dennis Basso, Lori Goldstein, Kim Gravel, etc. The episodes are on separate shows called "Shop Couture," and "Basic Beauty." You can access both shows from Spotify or iTunes.

They also do full beauty shows on their FB pages. Courtney's latest one is using the Tweaked hair care products online.

You create an all beauty channel and then switch is out for cooking/food (and seems like leftover Holiday food) during the month that your own company called Beauty Month? What a bad idea. I think there is enough cooking/food on QVC already as several hosts now seem to be having their own cooking/food shows but I cannot even get through one of the Sunday morning cooking shows with all the fake lip smacking, silly faces and noises - hard to watch.

I do find that Beauty IQ gets too repetitive and could definitely use more live air time/host variety than just weekdays from 8-12 with basically the same 2 hosts. If you have an all beauty channell then not sure why live air time is so limited. I have definitely seen enough reruns of IT, Mally and Josie Maran for a lifetime so the channel could really use more product variation too but still will watch it any day over cooking/food presentations.

I think it’s temporary. They must not be selling enough? I have recently noticed that they are showing less brands than they used to. Anyone else notice that too? Seems to be the same 10 brands over and over.
