Well, I tried it and regardless of how much or little I use, my hair feels like it did back years ago (kind of sticky) with regular mousse and yes, my hands feel sticky after I apply it.
Has anyone experienced this but eventually found a way to make it work? I would have returned it but it came in a kit and I've given away other parts of the kit already.

Thanks beaches! Yes, I've only used it on wet hair. The reason I haven't tried it on dry hair is because I figured if it felt sticky on my hands, it might feel really sticky on dry hair? I may try it, when I know I don't have to go anywhere that day. I've only used Pom so perhaps 613 is different. And I don't think I've seen anyone else complain about it being sticky, which I think is interesting. I can't be the only one?

Happy,
I posted something yesterday asking for a comparison on the Wen mousses. One Wenner replied that you have to apply it to soaking wet hair. Have you done that?
I currently use Pantene Curly mousse. When I first used it a few years ago, I remember there was a learning curve. I'm sure Wen mousse has a learning curve!

yes, soaking wet hair and towel dried but still damp hair. Also I've tried both a little bit and alot. Still the same issues. Thanks for the suggestions though!

It smoothed my frizz and added volume and shine. After awhile, it didn't seem to smooth my hair as well. I got that frizziness back again. However, sometimes, it works great. I'm not sure if it is the cc that I am using with it that is making me have different results. It could also have something to do with the amount. It seems like I get better results when I use less of the mousse. The serum is the same way for me. Sometimes I like it, and sometimes I don't. I'm sorry this really doesn't help you, but I wanted to share my experience.
Thanks Hilary, every little bit of info helps. Unfortunately I only use fig now and smc so perhaps the mousse just won't work with those two. Since I only use those two, I won't know if may actually work with other CCs. I'm still experimenting but pretty close to running out of variations I can try to get it to work. I actually tried giving it to my girlfriend but she sent it right back, lol, she said it doesn't do anything for her hair.

HD, I wasn't all that excited about the mousse at first because it seemed to be to much for my hair--I just thought it added too much volume. But I had great success when it got towards the end of the bottle and I added water--eureka!!lol
Instead of having to soak my hair and add mousse, and soak it some more, I watered down the formula...and when I add it to my soaking, wet hair, it gives me just the right amount of lift and volume and hold...without being 'too much'. It's kinda like how the cc's tend to smoosh through your hair more easily when you've gotten down to the bottom of the bottle and added water--still works just as good, but you can get it through to your scalp easier.
Maybe try thinning it out a bit with water and see how you go?

chickenmoo, good suggestion! Can you open up the mousse top easily? Will the pump still work if you remove it? Oh and I didn't even notice any volumizing-it seemed the opposite, my hair seemed flatter and more matted down. I am going to try thinning it out with water and see if that will work. Thanks!
