WEN and styling products

I used WEN for the first time today and i think it's love (not quite sure yet). I was using DevaCurl and decided to try WEN Fig after reading the positive reviews. One question i can't seem to find an answer to is whether or not it's "safe" to use other styling products with WEN. I have 3a/b curly hair and after using it today, the curl is definitely more defined and bouncy, but frizz is still a problem. I used the styling cream as directed and but did not like the styling stick whatsoever (it didn't soften enough in my hands to really do anything but aggravate the frizz). So my question is, can i use WEN with an additional styling product (ArcAngel by Deva) or is that defeating the purpose.

I searched this and other forums, but haven't seen this question asked or answered.
