Just a guess - Shanus is not re-purchasing the same product if it doesn't work.
Unless you have any version of curl/wave in your hair you can't understand the frustration in searching for a hair product that works consistently. If you have any complications to address such as thin and sparse or the opposite of that you go deeper into the product search for something that works. I can't over state that even when you find what you think will be a solution, you can't count on it every time. The desire to find a product that works consistently is what drives me to keep trying new products.
I know Shanus can speak for herself but since I could have written the same words I'm putting in my 2 cents.
p.s. I'm speaking of products across all brands - drug store and salon, not just WEN.

Actually, I think she is. In another thread she said she's been using Wen for 5 years. Then another thread said hat she's using Deva curl and Nick Chavez and Ouidad and Wen and now after several years wants to ditch them.
I don't have curly hair, but my daughter does and it is as equally frustrating as if it were my own. I'm trying different products on her hair as well, but as we have all said at some point, what works for some won't necessarily work for others. Therefore, I use all Wen for myself, but unfortunately the Wen styling products do not work for her kinky/curly hair. But I found that out after one bottle of finishing creme, one bottle of styling cream, half a bottle of oil, etc. Needless to say I did not continue to spends hundreds or thousands of dollars on Wen styling products for her.
