Hi all,
In case anyone is interested, I tried out the new ginger pumpkin cleansing conditioner from the TSV last weekend. I have a ton of fine, curly hair, so it gets weighed down and frizzes easily, and I find that some of the WENs actually exacerbate that condition. To date, the best WEN for me has been the lavender. The sweet almond mint really weighs my hair down, and the pomegranate is OK, but not as good as the lavender for me. I mention that so you can see the context for my review! The pumpkin left my hair with a fair amount of body - it did not weigh it down as much as the sweet almond mint, but it did weigh it down more than the lavender. I have a bit too much frizz with the pumpkin as well, and for some reason, I had an enormous amount of stinging with this one on my scalp, more so than any other scent that I have tried. I'm not a fan of any of the WEN scents in general, but the pumpkin smelled pretty good to me in the bottle and not so great once I put it in my hair. All in all, I would rank it the second best WEN for me, right behind the lavender with pomegranate coming in third, but the stinging might end up making me not use it so much!
