Volumizing spray/ texturizing balm

I currently use Aveda Volumizing Spray and Styling Paste ( the one in the blue jar ). I was wondering what the WEN versions are like. Concerned that SD Alcohol is the first ingredient in the spray. Also, is the WEN balm sticky and is there any hold? The Aveda product is pretty sticky. The WEN styling cream is out of the question because a lot of silicone oils which weigh my hair down. Thanks!
