Does anyone enjoy watching Vloggers decluttering their enormous makeup collection? They get so much in PR and buy products for the sake of reviewing. I'm sorry but I'm not interested in seeing what you have and what your giving away or tossing. It also reminds me that I should be doing the same thing!

@Jordan2  - I don't particularly like watching those either but admit that I have.  Usually not the whole thing though.  Like you, I don't care what they have, what they got in PR, or what they are keeping.  Uusually just watch for a bit out of curiosity. Also don't enjoy watching the "unboxing" videos where they show everything they get in PR.  Find that really strange.

Re: Vloggers and Decluttering

The only one I'll watch declutter is Samantha March.  She's the only one I watch for un-boxing too.

I wish I had a friend that was an influencer so I could get some of their throw-aways.  These influencers get so much in PR!

@Jordan2    I remember the days when I was "flooded" with products and did major declutters at my office. Of course, no where near what influencers have and toss out. I used to watch Michele Wong's, but her makeup is always so expensive and I think she keeps way too much for too long. I've never watched Samantha March, but may just give her a quick look.

I only enjoy seeing their organization ideas...plastic bins, towers, how they divide categories, etc.

BTW, I'm thinking these videos are to mention brand names they keep and show and may get a slight financial benefit even though it's not a "makeup review" per se.

Re: Vloggers and Decluttering

@San Antonio Gal sometimes the Vlogger has compiled boxes she opens all at once, I know they aren't bragging but it sometimes bothers me to see how much they get. I like and watch Morgan Turner, she has a room dedicated to all her makeup. She lets her friends shop what she isn't keeping for herself.

I've tried watching decluttering videos but can't get into them.

The ones I've watched didn't give me any tips, they just seemed to be about themselves without providing any ideas to help me.

I never watched Morgan Turner, so can't comment. I have tried watching Samantha March, but I can't relate to her. It seems that she only advertises her lavish spending and travel, not many makeup or skincare ideas, at least the ones I watched. Lost interest after a few minutes.

That being said, I'm glad that others can enjoy the decluttering and certain vloggers, just not for me.

@monicakm she did a video when she traveled with her parents and husband to Japan and Singapore and it was very interesting and enjoyable.

@monicakm I just watched a short video on YouTube of Morgan Turner, she had some friends over and let them "shop" her makeup for themselves and friends and family. They walked away with tote bags of goodies, must be nice to be her friend!

Re: Vloggers and Decluttering

With so many Vloggers decluttering and telling myself I was going to declutter my makeup and skincare I finally started. I have organized products by type and will start the purge tomorrow. It actually looks better already because I had things in such disarray. I know it will be difficult to get rid of so much but it needs to be done, I will feel so much better when it's over.
