After searching for a great foundation over the past few years, I'm going to visit my local Merle Norman store today. I used their aqua balance foundation about 5 years ago and was happy with it and always got compliments on how pretty my makeup looked, but then I started having what the dermatologist called "hormomona breakouts," mostly on my chin and neck. So, I started using Clinique's acne foundation, which helped and I really liked the coverage, but the salacylic acid started drying my skin. For the last 6 months or so I've been using IT CC and like it. I'm actually almost out so I've decided I liked the Merle Norman so much that I'll shop them and see what they have to offer now. Sorry so long. Am I the only one that goes back and forth on the ultimate foundation hunt?

Re: Visiting Merle Norman today

I am always looking for that illusive foundation, so I hope that you find a good one at Merle Norman's.  I have not used that makeup in years, but I really liked it.  Please report back if you decide to give one of theirs a try and let us know how you like it.

Re: Visiting Merle Norman today

I find that switching foundations after quite a while actually works for me.  I'm not a foundation hopper, but notice that change is good for my skin.

Merle Norman makeup is very good quality.  The last time I used this line was a few years ago and I was pleased with the finish.  They also give you a little "freebie" sample when you buy.  Heart

Good luck and let us know how it goes for you.
