There is no point for the salon to charge more because the Vinylux is the same price as OPI or China Glaze.

I buy many CND products and they don't cost more. Someone is lining their pockets.

Further more, they don't have to use a base coat or heat lamp to dry your nails. Talk about a rip-off!!

I have worked in retail and I know they mark their products up 50% at least.

No reason to pay $9.95 for a bottle of VL, get them on ebay for between $5 and $6.

Great minds think alike lol....I, too, pay an extra $3.00 at the the salon for VL and I have also decided to get it from Ebay and bring it in for my manis! Due to the oversaturation of nail salons in NYC, we can still get good deals on mani/pedis....anywhere from $23 - 26 for BOTH lol!! A VL manicure (including the extra cost ) runs from $11 - $13. We pay a ton for Hair Services, but Nails are still quite reasonable!Smiley Happy))

Some ebay sellers sell VL very reasonably priced if you buy in multiples, some sell up to 10 or 12 at a time.

that is totally outrageously priced, my pedis are $25, and extra pampering is more. I always bring my Vinylux and top coat

At a better salon/spa this is the going rate in our area. I like the VL on toes as it dries quickly! I have shellac mani's and love the two week wear.

Just curious where are you located, I thought my area was expensive

Outside of Seattle. There are tons if cheaper shops, I'm not a fan of the few I tried. Would be great to find a less expensive place that had quality work and not an assembly line shop!

I bought two shades and a top coat for $17 on the bay last night. I got two pale pink shades. I'll let you know what I think after I've tried them!

My salon charges more, but I bring my own.

I go to an all service salon. A regular manicure is $20 and a pedicure is $30. If you get both it is $45.

There are tons of nail salons that do both for $25.

Shelbelle, that is too funny because Cake Pop is the shade I've been obsessed with the last few months lol!! It's one of the only VL pinks I really like not only because of the great color, but the opaque coverage is wonderful!! I have a few on my Wishlist on Ebay!!
