Vaguely remembering seeing it....tossed it because I don't do most surveys and definite not taking a cell phone picture of the QR code.

I've received numerous communications, much like the OP's letter, in my e-mail. It's just bait, hoping someone will fall for it if a gift is offered for their effort. They always make you feel like a special candidate. Like you're only 1% of those chosen, etc.

Many people who receive a gift will feel obligated to write a favorable review. Lots of sneaky things happening at Amazon.

I can attest to this, as I was a Top Reviewer and in Vine for a couple years. High ranking reviewers are inundated with people asking for reviews. Also prime for account hacking. Happened to me. I dropped out; it's too messy of a playground.

@JeanLouiseFinch. I'd Trash it. Just heard a consumer TV report on how your computer data can be stolen by using illicit QR codes. This is about as suspicious as a letter can be. I'd immediately report it to Amazon's fraud department.
