Very Good Thickening Hair Product

I discovered this just last week.  Pantene makes Age Defy Thickening Collection.  First I'll tell you that I am not a big fan of product in my hair.  If just never works for me.  I gave up trying them and wasting more money.  Well the old temptation got to me when I saw this line so I decided to get the thickening serum and then the conditioner, but didn't get the shampoo.  They say you'll see results just after two uses and continued results with use... I tried the serum and saw immediate results.  Now I had a short layered style and cut it more into a pixie style and that is when I saw the horrid thinness ... you could see my scalp.  This product, esp the serum helped tremendously.  I'm going back to get more serum because I'm afraid they will discontinue it Smiley Happy

If you try it I hope it works for you.

@Trudey I hope it works for you.  I don't like to suggest products because I worry that it won't work for others and I then feel bad.  I just went out an bought another of the serum this afternoon.  It was the last one in the store.  I really don't want to be without this one.

I stopped using the serum because its main ingredient is alcohol, and thought it was very drying to the hair.

I bought several powders at Sally B that have worked great. I've got one that adds color; the other does not
You put some in the palm of your hand and massage it into the thinner areas. Color & Lift & Rock On Volumizing Powder. both very good..

You're right @Shelbelle, denatured alcohol or ethanol is bad for the skin/hair.

I think its part of the age defy system. I tried the shampoo/conditioner that does  add fullness. smells like butterscotch but i cant find the serum anywhere.  Pantene full and strong does even a better job at thickening.  I am currently useing S factor Health Factor  on sale for $11.99  for  large bottle at beautybrands. its sulfate free and adds fullness.  I also like Amplify by matrix. i only purchase on sale  otherwise its too expensive.  They are more gentle than pantene and color safe

The Pantene product is not for volumizing .. it's thickening.

Volumizing and thickening to me is the same thing.  Thicker hair gives the feeling and apperance of more volume. I have long hair so I have  to use a thickening shampoo  for my hair to look like  it has volume
