Very Disappointed with Mally's July TSV

I was soooo excited to get this kit. I ordered the fair. Apparently, in Mally makeup world FAIR = DARK ORANGE.

I put it on before work -- running late, of course -- and was concerned about the color as I began applying it. I have Edward Bess' foundation, and it looks orange in the jar but absolutely does NOT look orange once applied. I thought this might be the same situation. Nope.

I didn't have time to take it off and start over so I spent the whole day looking like an oompa loompa. Who could wear this color? Certainly not anyone with fair skin. It was just awful.

On the positive side, the foundation stayed on all day and the application with the sponge inside the compact was smooth. I don't like brushes for foundation, but the kit comes with one.

So glad you posted this. I was on the fence about trying this and you saved me return shipping since I would have ordered the fair - not a fan of orange!

I bought it in medium. First, I don't like the way it looks on the skin. Heavy. Even if it was a color match, the finish was not good on my skin.

Second, although dark in the packaging which is the case with all foundations in this type of delivery second, the medium has pinkish gray undertone. It looks very orange in the packaging but applied and it was not a natural color on me.

Loved the rest of the kit and honestly, had very little hope for the foundation to begin with so I went in knowing I would probably toss the foundation.

I too appreciate your review but am sorry it did not work out for you. I have saved it in my cart for a while and was on the fence regarding foundation shades. I have fair cool toned skin and have found her products run orange on me in the past. The under eye brightener in the tsv was quite yellow on me. I will have to pass on this tsv. Too bad because I have a number of her other products that I really like.
