Re: Venting - What would YOU do?

I've never had an Amazon vendor tell me to send something defective back.

Well, that's sort of my problem -- they've "made it right" by sending me samples. Frankly, I don't want samples of anything. I just want my mask. A CLEAN one. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Send it back! This is absolutely unacceptable.

I can't believe I actually "cleaned" the mold off the jar, the rim and the lid, intending to use this on my face!! Am I a moron or what? {#emotions_dlg.sad}

No, you are not a moron. Just a crazed beauty fanatic like the rest of us on this board. You came here because we are the voice of reason and we set you straight. You would do the same for us in a minute. Wink

Awe Shaunac what a nice thing to say!

Rina contact Amazon they will take care of you. Credit, replacement whatever. They may/probably will tell you to toss the product. Amazon has the best CS. Hope things work out for you.

No thought is worth thinking.....

Samples is not making it right. What good are samples? Samples of what?

Re: Venting - What would YOU do?

Did the postmark show the vendor sent it out right away or was it hung up via the postal service?

Don't know why you need to 'vent'. If you've been happy with this vendor before, why be upset now? Does the vendor know you have an issue? How can they 'right' it, if you've only told us about it?

I wouldn't use it and I would contact Amazon to return it.

I don't understand. Didn't you just receive this? If so, when did you get the samples to "make it right"?

I would want a clean mask too. Of course - Who wouldn't? I think the answer is obvious: Contact the seller, and let them know. If you've been happy in the past, I would certainly give them the opportunity to replace it. There could have been a shipping issue or other issue out of their control, especially since it took so long to get to you.

And no, I would not use it. I wouldn't even consider it, and I would likely send it back or throw it out immediately (after taking some photos). I wouldn't want anything that disgusting in my house.

Re: Venting - What would YOU do?

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I called AMZN and the issue has been resolved.

Regarding your questions -- the item was ordered on July 13th. I didn't get it until yesterday, 08-06-14. Not to belabor the issue, there was a mix-up on the vendor's end. My original post was just the abbreviated version to get to the point -- which was the mold.

Anyway, ladies, -- and Shaunac -- you "set me straight"! Thanks. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
