@San Antonio Gal I once wasted 10 minutes watching her. I watch none of the so-called "beauty" experts on the Q.

never had chapped or dry lips.

I agree! Have to admit though I've started to watch some of the Isomers presentations on ShopHQ and have been tempted to try them.

Oh, ny! I could never do that. When I go to bed is the one time my feet get hot and I often have to stick them out of the covers. In winter, if my feet are cold and I wear socks to bed, I end up taking them off. Can't stand it.
I haven't YET used vaseline on my feet, but when I do put something greasy on them, I do it a couple of hours before bed. I have some of those thin slip-on sockettes that just cover the feet and I'll put those one before putting my socks back on. Come bedtime, my feet are no longer greasy.

Vaseline has dozens of useful hacks and many don't involve the skin. This one is good where you apply a tiny amount of Vaseline around the opening of a nail polish bottle. Keeps it from sticking shut and makes it easy to open.

I use the Vaseline "rosy lips" and never have chapped lips!
My Derm also recommmends using Vaseline to protect your skin and it will heal by itself.

I like and use vaseline for many things. I think it's easy to bash it and fake outrage that it's petroleum to increase sales, as others have said.
More than one thing can be true at the same time. Humans can keep more that one thing straight, they just don't like, too. LOL. Posion Ivy is all natural!

What I find hilarious is when these vendors get on, greasing themselves up as they speak, and rattle off ten ingredients thier magical products DON'T contain....( but neglect to mention the 20-30 that they DO!!!!......
....when....
Vaseline has*****wait for it*****......
ONE ingredient!!!!
And did I mention it's dermatologist recommended?
A dermatologist is a MEDICAL DOCTOR.*...
The Bubble Lady, the Greasy Lady and the Goat Men are.....
Salespeople belonging to a made up affiliation called "Clean Beauty"!!!
I want to grab them by thier greasy shoulders and give them a shake and say...
"Know your Vaseline facts!!!
Like I and a lot of other wise Q shoppers do!!!!"
(And YES I know one of the Goat Men is a Doctor....he should know better!!!)

I have mentioned this before in other beauty posts, but Vaseline and other skin care products with petroleum jelly in them are use in Wound Care.
I have been a Wound Care patient for many years, and it is used extensively in Wound Care.
It protects the skin and helps provide a moisture barrier for it.
People would probably be surprised to know that there are also wound care products/dressings that contain petroleum jelly in them.
I will either use Vaseline or a petroleum jelly containing skin care lotion on my feet and legs.
I think that the key to not having it feel so greasy is to use a little at time, and see how much you need.
