Just saw an ad for this. Has anyone looked into this OR actually had it done? It is a filler made specifically for the cheeks. The woman in the ad is an actual patient and looks beautiful, of course, but not that old LOL!
I am thinking if your cheeks were filled out, it may just pull the chin line up a bit
LOL.
Anyone else think this looks interesting?

I've heard of it but haven't had it done. I was just looking at a magazine piece on celebs who went overboard with fillers. They showed a pic of Madonna -- not good. I always wonder WHY the cheeks look so bad. These people have pots of money to spend on the best, yet they always look so done and altered. Maybe this new product is in response to that. I wonder what they were using, if this has just recently been approved.
ETA: Check out this site -- there's a pic indicating that this DOES lift the lower face a little.

It has just been approved. Sometimes it takes a while because they have "tester" clients for a while. The training and testing takes a while. Training is a big issue. Doctors don't get a product one day, and use it the next. Haha, well some do probably.
It is for the cheek area. I think it has been out for over a year, but just to test groups. IDK, I would be leery. it lasts up to 2 years. If it went all wrong, it would be there for a while!
My Doctor emailed me about the release last week.

Madonna has fat transplants in the cheeks, or implants.. They are very apple like.

Okay -- I'll know what NOT to do! :-)

YES! I had it done last week. It did pull my cheeks upward and eliminated the need for filler in the naso-labial area. Looks very natural (and I have a very thin face to begin with.)
Edited to add: It's fairly expensive compared to regular Juvederm. I paid $900 per syringe, but it is "supposed" to last 2 years.

How much was it may I ask. How exactly do they do it? Are there many injections, or just a big one?
Thanks

Shoekitty........I just added an edit to my original post. I paid $900 per syringe in Phoenix. OK........I gotta say, you can FEEL it going in, because it's a lot deeper than the regular Juvederm. It took one syringe for each cheek. My derm put it in right below my cheekbones, not in the apple. I have a very narrow, thin face........and it looks very natural. (Nobody made any "comments" about "having my face fixed".)

Oh my goodness! Who is even looking at her cheek implants! Her hands look as if she has the beginnings of RA - so sad!....not starting a rumor here, just an observation.
