Shoekitty........I just added an edit to my original post. I paid $900 per syringe in Phoenix. OK........I gotta say, you can FEEL it going in, because it's a lot deeper than the regular Juvederm. It took one syringe for each cheek. My derm put it in right below my cheekbones, not in the apple. I have a very narrow, thin face........and it looks very natural. (Nobody made any "comments" about "having my face fixed".)

Desertdi - I read about this recently and have been very interested. What do you feel is the greatest benefit from having it - filling in the cheeks, getting rid of fine lines (or not so fine) lifting the face or maybe a bit of all of them? I have some lax skin on my left cheek (according to a picture lyn posted from Dr Setterfield's book) which I believe is a result of both some bone loss causing the skin to collapse some plus left side sun exposure from years of driving in very sunny climates. I was thinking that maybe this could help with that - lax skin has kind of a crinkled look to the skin and it just drives me crazy as my right cheek looks just fine - no lines, no crinkles, pretty much holding it's own quite well.

Would love to hear your thoughts. I'm just south of you in Tucson and am sure some here are using it. Thanks much for your review about it.

Hi Wackers..........Over the past couple years, I have had extensive dental work.....including a number of implants. Personally, I thought that was what started my face to look "lax".......the "sour puss look". I am also sss....sev.....oh my gosh.....can't say it (!) years old......so that doesn't help, either. I was having juvederm in my naso/labial and marionette lines. OK.....that helped by plumping them out. This time when the derm suggested I might be interested in something that would actually LIFT the skin, I jumped at it. It's only been two weeks now......and I have to admit that I am pleased with the results. The Voluma really lifted my cheeks......rather than just plumping it out. I know the stuff is pretty new on the market......but I figured I ain't getting any younger, either! di
