Anyone watching this demo on this Voloom Volumizing Iron on the southern channel right now?  Just turned it on and some of the models hairstyles are certainly BIG....just starting laughing out loud watching this.  Maybe it's a great product, but the styles I saw were awful.

They look hot mess. That doesn't look appealing.

I don't understand why they create such ugly hair styles to sell this product.! The Voloom is actually a wonderful tool when used CORRECTLY. I've used it for about 10 months. I use it in 2 spots and it gives a soft, gentle lift....no giant frizzy head. There is no damage to my hair (you control the temp) and I use it several times a week.

If you want to try it, go for this great price (I paid double)

@scottygal.......this little tool intrigues me. Do you style your hair first (example.....blow it dry as usual) then just go in to the underlayers and "voloom" it?  My hair is in layers and I style it with the Caj Beauty volumizing dryer brush, which really does add a lot of volume and curl to my hair.   On the models it looked like they just volumized the hair before it was even styled......and man did it look a mess! But if I styled it with my drying brush after I had crimped it.....I would think that would undo the volumizing.

Any other input anyone can give me on this product would be appreciated!  I'd love to ditch all the volumizers I currently use!

I've got it and paid the big price for it. I agree the models looked awful. I use it on a few spots and use it only at the root. Not down the whole length of hair. I also have the Conair root scruncher. I could have done w/o the Valoom. Conair was about $20.

@SahmIam @scottygal- I ordered the Voloom yesterday and am very happy to read how much you both like it. I plan on trying on just a couple of areas that could use a gentle lift. Hopefully it won't take too much getting used to the process in order to achieve some good results.,,,Seems like I'd want to go close to the roots and leave enough hair above to cover the area.  There are probably instructions on You Tube or on Voloom's website to review before trying... I hope I enjoy it as much as you guys!

Yes, I style my hair first as I normally would. When finished I lift the top area and secure it in a clip. I voloom a small area near the scalp. Release the clip so the straight hair falls over it and repeat on the opposite side. I can run my fingers thru it. I do a subtle lift, and the crimp is not noticable, even in wind. It lasts for a few days. (my best friend just saw Voloom and started to tell me about it. Told her I'd been using it for months. She never knew...just noticed good hair days) HTH
