The problem has to do with the fatty acids in the virgin CO. When they take out the fatty acids then the CO becomes a liquid (fractionated) and has been said to NOT to clog pores. @Shanus

Personally, I use an oil cleanser (and it doesn't really matter what kind) because it dissolves my makeup and sunscreen but I  always follow it up with a regular facial cleanser to remove any traces of makeup and oil afterwards.  I would never leave an oil on my face. @Shanus If you always wash off the coconut oil after removing your makeup, it probably doesn't matter what kind it is, IMO
