Hello lovely QVC ladies. I posted immediately after purchasing WEN how much I loved it, but wanted to give you an update after 9 months of use. I still LOVE IT!

I started using WEN in desperation because no matter what shampoo I used, my scalp burned and itched. Coloring my hair did not bother my scalp, so I knew it was something in shampoo or conditioner. I had tried numerous "sulfate free" products, salon products, and drugstore stuff. Nothing was working and I was researching going NoPoo, which made me nervous. I live in Houston, and it is broiling here 4+ months of the year and without going into TMI territory, I need to clean my head.

I've been using WVM 3-4 times a week, replacing one of the times with Coconut Mango after it came out. After 9 months, my scalp has not itched or burned. My hair is growing faster and is fuller than it was. I have very fine hair and I swear it is thicker. It holds a style for longer with less product. I did not take WEN to the salon for a few months to see what my stylist said. It was my second post-WEN visit that she commented how healthy my hair was and asked what I had been doing. She told me that some of her clients had been using it, but not with the results she saw with me. She figured I had started taking vitamins or changed my diet.

I'm almost 43 and have been coloring my hair for 30 years. The first few months I noticed almost no hair falling out in the shower. There was a period about 3 months in, when there was some breakage, about equivalent to what I saw with shampoo. I am back in a no breakage period. My shower drain has been far less full overall since switching. I have not noticed if it does or does not keep my color, since I highlight mine blonde and spend a fair amount of time outside in the sun, which changes the color.

I did convince two relatives to try it. My neice she hated it and thought it made her hair greasy. I told her to rinse better than she ever had before, but I don't know if she did or not. My sister-in-law has been using it and loves it.

I know it does not work for everyone, but this Texan is thrilled to have discovered WEN. Now, if I can just convince them not to discontinue WVM after 2 seasons...

About the same time, I also tried JM Argan oil and will be reviewing it today too.
