HELP!!!!
Went to my hairdresser this morning and got my eyebrows waxed. Have had it done for years and never a problem.
My hairdresser usually does it while I have a toner on my hair, then cuts my hair and blows it out. At the end I took a look at my eyes because they felt sore, and I see a red swollen patch on each eye.
It almost feels like sunburn or rugburn to me, but the strange thing is, it isn't where the wax was, but underneath where she put it. Still on the top part of my eyelid, above the crease. The wax didn't feel too hot, nor did I notice or feel it drip down my eye. Also, it's not between the eyebrows.
My hairdresser, who's my friend, said that all the products were the same, and was VERY apologetic.
I look like I've done a couple of rounds in the ring, and although I've iced it and put on some aloe, it's smarting really badly and to me it looks like a blister, although not terribly puffy.
Anyone have this happen to them and can give me some good advice on what to do now?
