Update on my search for Sunscreen for Face

Not long ago I posted regarding my difficulty in finding a sunscreen for my face.  I appreciated all your suggestions and posts!  As of now, I have found a product that I am liking and I believe a poster suggested it.  I am sorry I do not recall who it was, but thank you!!  It is Australian God - Tinted!  For those who might be looking for a new product, this has a matte finish if you don't use moisturizer under it.  If you use a moisturizer first (as I need to do), it is more moist but not overly so like most of the sunscreens I tried!  The color or tint is not too dark -- and I am very fair.  I swoosh on a bit of LG B&B over it and I'm good to go! I will not say that I will stick with it forever but as of right now, it's the best I have found and I am pretty happy with it!

Re: Update on my search for Sunscreen for Face

@AngelPuppy1 Glad you found something you like!  I think I am the one who suggested it.  I used it in the past and really liked it.  It is certainly tenacious to remove!  lol  I bought it again with high hopes, but my skin has changed, and I find it a bit too matte and drying no matter what I do.  That being said, I use it for my hands and plan to use it on my face when we go to the lake, because like I said, it isn't going to be removed easily.

What I am currently using and liking is The Beauty of Joseon, Relief Sun: Rice plus Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++.  It has a tiny bit more shine than I like but only a little.  With primer and powder foundation, it is working pretty well.

I'm dark complected and that Australian Gold ss made me look ghostly. Most mineral ss do that on me.

I really like the RMS SuperNatural Radiance Serum Broad Spectrum sunscreen.   It's mineral based with an SPF30.   @SilleeMee  I use the medium, but also have the Rich, which is darker,  and sometimes mix the two.  No white cast at all from either.

Although they are imperfect, I also vote for a large brim with a neck covering.  Very handy if you are sitting in the sun for a kid's game.  Don't forget your feet tops too 🥵

I  use Tula daily sunscreen gel broad spectrum SPF 30,  along with their tinted radiance serum, SPF 30, mixed with L'Oréal Glotion and love them! I have normal skin and now that I'm older, I prefer a dewey, not matte look.😊

Australian Gold - Tinted! has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I think it comes in two tints dependening on where you buy it from.

@Ainhisg

Thank you for recommending!  When I first tried it, I thought --- yah -- it has a matte finish and not greasy - I was so happy!  But as the time went out I realized my face looks so dry!  So, I started using a fair amount of moisturizer first and letting that set in for about 10 minutes and then applying the sunscreen.  So far, so good!

@SilleeMee

I am just the opposite --- since I am so fair, most of the tinted ones make me look orange and very bad!
