Update on my last post about bad MAC store experience

I dont know of any of you remember but I made this huge long post about a bad experience at a mac store (not a counter in the department stores but an actual mac freestanding store). Anyway I asked for this $30 product called strobe cream and I asked the sales girl to double check and make sure it was the right product as I do not drive and rely on my husband to drive me to this mall that is 30 mins away. Well to make a long story short she sold me the wrong cream even after I asked her to double check but I did not realize until i got home. I called her and explained that my husband has a heart condition and felt ill so we rushed home so I did not check the product until i got to my hosue (either way I felt she should have made sure she sold me the right product but what ever). I politely explained that since I do not drive and my husband has heart disease if she could extend the time frame by a little extra because I had no way of getting to the mall. I was so nice to her even though inside I was furious to be honest. Much to my surprise she was extremely rude,disrespectful and nasty.

I posted on here and got alot of great advice from you ladies which I want to thank you all for. You ladies are very savy! I took your adviced and called the corporate office and the person who I spoke to in in charge of consumer relations for MAC. She was very furious about what happened to me and extremly apologetic. She was very sincere and said she would speak to the district manager of that area to make sure that they re-train their associates. What really impressed me though is that she is sending me the $30 strobe cream for free!!!!!!! Si I am not out any money and will eventually get what I wanted! She said it will take about 6 weeks to get and was so sorry about mwe having to wait that long to get it but I said to her please no aplology neccessary! She is sending me a $30 cream for free due to my inconviencence and totally mitigated the damage so no neeed for her to even feel bad about me waiting 6 weeks. I am so grateful and wanted to posted this because as we all know while customer service has gone down the drain (like ulta which ia a nightmare) there are still other retailers who still care so kudos to MAC!
