I am 47 and looking for a new foundation. In the past I have used Tarte (liquid) and Bobbi Brown (liquid). I am considering the January It TSV but am also intrigued by their Celebration Illuminating foundation. If anyone could give me some insight on the brand etc., I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

IT TSV is going to have their CC Cream in a compact which will be in cream form. For me I find that their CC Cream is almost full coverage. I also have the Celebration Illumination but my skin is dry and find that this is more drying. After applying it, I have to use a hydrating setting spray. Today I used it as a finishing powder and liked it that way. IT also makes great brushes and eyeliners.

irish26...jump in and give IT a try!
I believe the CC+ foundation is in the compact in the TSV...not sure if the formula is any different til Jamie talks about it. But that is my go-to foundation. I have the celebration illuminating foundation, but my skin just doesn't look as good with powders anymore at my age (50 in March). however, I still use it -- it is PERFECT for me in spot-covering redness/zits.
I use a lot of It products. give it a shot...you can always return it ![]()

Hi Irish26 ~ I hope you don't mind if I ask for help too? I'm light-Medium. I tried the powders and they just didn't work for me. I do have the Illumination creme in the compact, and I really like it. So, hoping the CC+ liquid will work also. How do the colors run? Is medium a lighter or darker shade? Thank you.

Mistic, I don't mind at all ! I am certainly a creature of habit and would like to "go outside the box" and try a new foundation. I hope we can both get some help on this post. Now all I need to do is figure out what shade to purchase
Typically, I wear BE fairly light.

Although we haven't had a presentation, I think the upcoming TSV might be great for you. The shade would be the issue. I can use fairly-light or sometimes medium beige in BE. Both are fairly neutral. The problem with IT is the limited shade range. I fall between fair and light in IT and neither is perfect and you might be the same. Fair is the more neutral but very fair. Light is more peachy undertoned (they say it's peachy-pink) but looks off on me. I can wear either but honestly, neither shade is great but I love the product.

Desi, I have yellow undertones in my skin so maybe fair is the way to go ? Thanks

I have problems with yellow showing up in a shade. Light is usually too light, and mediums seem to turn orange on me. I have no clue.....

I have found the IT is extremely yellow. I'm a light Irish girl with pink undertones. It looks like death on me. The powder formula is very drying.

My skin is a true medium with neutral understones. In the CC Cream I wear medium and it does have yellow undertones but I do find that I can still get away with it. Once I apply a finishing powder, it seems to tone down the yellow.
