It's funny, the scents that last the longest are the ones I try and can't stand.

Currently, I mix two Tom Ford scents. One of them is discontinued so that's how I am making it last. They are both skin scents.

I used to like several of the By Killian scents, but everyone wears them, and I don't like to smell myself everywhere. Prelude was lovely, as was Love.

I don't like the perfumy, perfumes that are big bombs. I also can't be around the vanilla gourmands, or any gourmands, which is too bad because along with sweet fragrances, gourmands are really hot now.

I'll have to comment on more recent fragrances. Seems anything from Kayali lasts all of (my) day. IOW, as long as I need it to since I'm not working all day and basically out,at the most, 4 hours. Occasionally I'm in the city for a full day and they will tend to fade away on those occasions. My Commodity fragrances last as long as I need them too as well...Milk, Gold and Velvet. I remember Light Blue lasting all day but I don't recall about the other fragrances in the 80s and 90s.

I can't say that I'm offended by anyone's fragrance. Absolutely there is some love and like better than others but I can't say that one has ever offended me to the point where I had to leave the area. And nothing is better than a good smelling man! I wish more people would wear fragrance. I enjoy it on others but it seems like people don't wear perfume as much as they used to.

My favorite was Bobbie Brown’s bath long discontinued. Wish the would bring it back.

For me, I've found not much has any lasting fragrance.

Two I remember that lasted, but i don't want anymore are Tresor, and Cashmere ...I still have one NO 1 from M.Asam, and that lasts too...but I'm not liking anything lately, so im just using Moonlight Path from Bath n body...it doesn't last either, but I like the fresh soft musk initial spritz. Wish I could find a beautiful musk perfume that lasts. Kuumba oils do last, but lately I just want a perfume. May take mom to the mall to sniff around.

One of my favorites and one that lasts fairly well on me is Oscar de la Renta. I seldom wear my Chanel #5, although I like it, sometimes it seems too heavy scent-wise. Pleasures by Estee Lauder is a nice light fragrance, and a new one by her is Beautiful Magnolia - I love her fragrances and enjoy wearing them. Just one spritz of any perfume is all I use. I can't imagine anyone wanting to have perfume banned in restaurants and offices...!!

Tova Signature is a lovely musky scent with good staying power. I wear it often. Have it on right now.
