We're going to the city tomorrow and I was considering going to Ulta if my knee isn't hurting too bad but I just remembered about the spring sale you guys told me about. Are all their sales the same where it's just certain items on certain days? I've never cared for that format and I don't think I've ever purchased anything because nothing I liked was on sale. If that's the case with the upcoming spring sale, I'll just go ahead and spend my gift certificate in the store.

@monicakm - yes that is how their 21 days of beauty sales are done.

Hey @monicakm, did you get anything?

I didn't.  I spent two hours this morning going thru their website.  I hardly recognize any product companies and I just didn't see anything I was interested in.  I gave the gc to my granddaughter.  If I actually needed anything I'm sure it would have been easier.

I don't like that format either.  It actually discourages me from buying.  If there's stuff I want, I would prefer to get it all at one time rather than having to go back to the store or even site on a daily basis to catch a sale.  It must work for them though.

And if  you don't order $35? worth each time, you have to pay shipping each time.  No thanks

Oh, I didn't even think of that.  Nope.

Spring sale items usually ship free for rewards members.  I usually order online and pick up in store.  You have 5 days to do that so it's easy to purchase multiple days.

I'm not a rewards member with Ulta but I do have perks with Sephora.  Seems like now all you need for that tho is to sign up as a Beauty Insider.  I'll be Rouge till the end of this year but don't see myself keeping that status after 2023.

I think for the semi-annual sales, you just have to be signed up.  You don't have to have status to get free shipping.  I'm been either platinum or diamond for several years so it could have changed and I wasn't paying attention.  Ulta's rewards program is pretty generous.
